The Trump Court now threatens the Legitimacy of the Supreme Court itself, for why should American citizens respect an Institution whose aim is to promote the extremist policies of a minority in the country, because of some unwanted religious influence on the Justices when they make their 'legal' arguments, as the Dissenting opinion declares-

It converts a series of dissenting opinions expressing antipathy toward Roe and Casey into a decision greenlighting even total abortion bans. An updated definition of Christian s required, As for Susan Collins saying she was 'duped' by Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, she has been involved in US politics since 1975, so it is not ignorance, or naivete, but indifference. She is as complicit in this decision as her Republican colleagues.

Susan Collins also said that Trump would learn a lesson after she voted against his first impeachment. Evidently she is a poor judge of character. I think it's clear from the lawyeresque way they answered the question in the confirmation hearings that they were giving themselves wiggle room.
