I don't know the specific circumstances, but my advice to young transwomen is the minute a dude is vibing off you, let him know you are trans.

Don't try to 'trick' a dude and think he'll go along with it.

What I find disingenuous is the GayTimes article which not-very-obliquely suggests that these unfortunate black transgirls were murdered by "conservative Republicans" who've 'declared open season' when their murderers were young black men.

When you can't honestly discuss a situation because it is unacceptable to honestly discuss it, then you will never resolve it. Whether Giovanni is close to the mark or it was some other motive, these girls were murdered. Their murderers have been caught. Justice would be (at least) a long prison sentence.
