Happens all the time, Hence their high drug abuse and suicide rates. One of my exes didn't have her parents in her life from 14 till 40. A potential Cancer diagnosis brought them back into her life, she survived but all that time lost for what? They never got their son back they still had to accept the fact so lost time and pain for nothing
