The death of Toni Morrison removes from the USA and the world I live in, a source of language that contains within it not just the Black experience, but the broader questions and answers that humanity asks of its own regardless of colour, creed and gender: and a language that sits in marked contrast with its eloquence and often startling simplicity to the crude, spiteful and aggressive drivel that slews out of the mouth and the twitter feed of the worst and most disgusting man to ever sit in the Oval Office, claiming to be President.
