In his latest act of revenge, the US President has chopped the tips off President Obama's Cuba policy -it exists and we should deal with Cuba eve if it doesn't want to be a shopping mall off the coast of Florida.

The reasons given are so absurd one wonders how anyone managed to keep a straight face as the public were told that
The administration will begin strictly enforcing the authorized exemptions that allow travel between the US and Cuba and prohibit commerce with Cuban businesses owned by the military and intelligence services

The President then said, without a trace of hypocrisy:
To the Cuban government, I say, put an end to the abuse of dissidents, release the political prisoners, stop jailing innocent people, open yourselves to political and economic freedoms...

This is a man with business interests in Egypt, a country free from any travel ban, birthplace of Mohammed Atta, governed by a brutal, unelected military elite that owns so much of the economy perhaps we can look forward to this in a Presidential speech:

To the Egyptian government, I say, put an end to the abuse of dissidents, release the political prisoners, stop jailing innocent people, open yourselves to political and economic freedoms

Or just be realists, and protect the business interests of the President rather than develop a rational policy with Cuba that would benefit Cubans and Americans.
