I watched "Cathouse" on HBO about the legal Nevada brothels. It looked like that place took in some good money. I think that they even had a liquor license there where customers could drink and socialize with the girls.

Now, for a place like that, I am sure that there might be a lot of jumping through legal hoops securing permits, dealing with zoning regulations, and other hassles. But, if you are able to get everything in legally and the business is profitable, it might be worth it.

I have seen where Heidi Fleiss is in the process of opening a brothel geared towards a female clientelle that will have male escorts. If this goes through, Heidi will have a business with some uniqueness and not have much competition.

This got me thinking. How about a Chicken Ranch that employs transsexual escorts that would appeal to both a male and a female clientelle? Would this work out? Is there anything legally restrictive to having a transsexual brothel that would differ from the more conventional ones?

If this is a crazy idea, please forgive me. I am just looking for some feedback. It seems like a potentially successful business. The girls who work there would have a clean, safe place to work and possibly make more money than the way they are now.

Is there anything legally restrictive to having a transsexual brothel that would differ from the more conventional ones?

There was an episode on Cathouse where a transsexual worked there for a little while. The owner said he loves TG's and frequently gets requests for them. However, the one he had there was a butt-ugly older man with a boob job and a bad wig.

Here in Houston, before I had any interest in TG's, myself and a few friends were trolling the Asian massage parlors downtown. We happened upon one where an odd looking madam answered the door. We inquired about the services offered therein, and she replied “Dis place fa menz only.” I said, “What? We’re men.” She repeated, “No … dis fo menz only” and slammed the door. As I turned to see my friend’s obscure expression on his face, I realized “Holy shit, those were drag queens in there!” This was back in the early 80’s, and we were naïve to the distinguishing characteristics between drag queens, shemales, and so forth. While all brothels here are illegal, they had no reservations about setting up shop with Asian shemales. Back then, very feminine looking shemales were kind of a rarity.

Also, in BoysTown Mexico, there are a few brothels on the block there offering only shemale prostitutes. I’ve attached a picture of one. You don't want to venture down there now. BoysTown is in Nuevo Laredo Mexico and that town is currently under siege by the drug cartels. Very dangerous place now, and Americans should steer clear of there.

You're a very responsible poster for giving that warning. It's no joke nowadays on both sides near the border. They're kidnapping more people than Islamic extremist. I don't think they're beheading people though but I wouldn't put it past them.

I, too, have heard that Nuevo Laredo was one of the most dangerous cities on earth. Saving a few bucks in certain parts of Mexico is definitely not worth risking your life.
