You're not missing much, M8. I wouldn't trade the Hollywood/Silverlake area for Downey any day.

I remember going to Downey once as a kid. They have a theme park/restaurant that gives tribute to the company the city was named after. I still get woozy thinking about this one ride that I went on that simulates the experience of being a piece of fabric softener getting knocked around in a dryer. It's not as fun as it sounds.

(BTW Danika is one of the most beautiful people around and very popular in Toronto and Montreal.)

Actually the city was named after Morton Downey Jr because when you enter the city limits it seems like someone's blowing smoke in your face.
