Judging by John Richardson's hilarious, but acutely perceptive essays, she would have been one of many; here for example, from his essay Dali's Gala, in the book Sacred Monsters, Sacred Masters: referring to Dali and Gala's sexual needs, Richardson writes;

I remember seeing International Chrysis in Q & A (1990),directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Nick Nolte.

Worth watching for a glimpse into the late 80s/early 90s New York's gay and transgendered street culture and for Nolte's great turn as a corrupt and vicious cop.

I saw this film and wondered who the girl was.

Very sad to hear she died shortly after the film came out...
