One thing that isnt being said here thus far is what happens to a girls head(the one above her shoulders)after SRS....

In Thailand there are a large percentage of girls who opt for the "deluxe" treatment and sadly most of them go absolutely loony..for whatever reason.Im not sure if its a specific thing or a combination of several factors,but the girls are never quite the same emotionally...in a negative manner.

That's what I've seen as well, given the few post-ops I know. No offense intended to the girls here who have gone post-op, I'm sure in many cases it's made them much more happy with themselves.

I bet in 10 years or so the medical science will be much more advanced, and the results will be worth waiting for.

All very well said. And I have to add my 2 cents here... It's absolutely everybody's right to decide on what to do with his/her own body. It's also everybody's right to feel or judge whether he/she likes the results or not. I understand (to my best but will be never ENTIRELY because I won't ever be in the same situation) and entirely respect girls who go through all the hardships (saving money, pain, bashing from guys etc.) to have the SRS done, but personally I don't feel comfortable dating a post-op. A fake vagina takes away a very important component of physical attractions for me. If I happen to fall in love with one maybe I will learn to ignore that but I won't aggressively pursue after dates or relastionships with a post-op. I feel that guys here who talk about "it don't matter" are hypocrites - when was the last time you actually deliberately, aggressively, dated a post-op while you do this every day with a pre-op or a female? Isn't it more like this - You found out she's a post-op but she's cute, sweet, or you were horny, or curious enough, or maybe you are emotionally attached enough by now to ignore the fact that now she's a post-op. I am not talking about love, respect, caring, romantic feelings beween you and her that developed in the aftermath. I am talking about basic, animalistic, straightforward sexual or physical attraction. Many of us certainly know what that is with a pre-op, many of us actually don't mind compromising on some other things to be with a pre-op shemale, but how many of us actually feel such sexual power from a post-op knowing that she's one? We men as a species actually aggressively pursue after a huge variety of sexual preferences including shemales (of course), other men, fat chicks, suicial girls, Black, Asian, White, mature... you name it, but has ever one group of us aggressively pursue after the erotica of post-op shemales? Or am I just ignorant...?

How many guys in this board have seeked, or have had real relationship with transsexuals, as opposed to those who just have a "fetish" or objectify us as pure sexual objects.

From the experiences of the men I have met- an d the post op women I know who have gotten married- have had relationships- the men they were with were generally not into pre op transsexuals.
