i'd suggest getting involved in some GLAAD type activities- eventually you'll meet a tranny or someone that knows one. also, you could relocate to an area with a high concentration of them to give yourself an advantage

lastly, have money. not always necessary but let's just say "it's very important"

If you aren't attached why hide it? If you are going to keep it as your deep dark secret you'll have to pay. I volunteer in an LBGT help program, and don't waste their time trying to hook up there, the transgender people that I see are looking to be recognized as who they are not kept in a dungeon.

Well, your post is kinda ambivalent. You can keep secret and pay. That's fine, and it's what a lot of men do. If you want something other than a business relationship, it's simply not fair to keep it secret. I'm not saying you have to walk down the street wearing a beanie hat and a big sign saying 'I date transwomen' but you know, just being prepared to take her for a drink or dinner. In public.

A lot of men, when they first get involved with transwomen, fail to understand two things: it is really expensive to transition, and it is much tougher for a transwoman to get a decent job. Not always, but in the absence of a PhD or Master's in a desirable area....you get my drift. So, you know, even if it's not a business relationship, be generous.

Apart from the above, most transgirls are kinda old-fashioned. They like you to open doors, pull out chairs, pick up the tab and buy them nice presents. Don't have to be really expensive presents, as my mother used to say, it's the thought that counts.

Transwomen can also be volatile. Learn to go with it and support her emotionally and it will be worthwhile.
