A question about you being single again and "Hard to find a good guy with a head on his shoulder" - how can you be happy with another person if you are not happy by yourself first?

I've always found this bit of advice to be a bit much. Dealing with heartache and loss is easier with someone there to help. You can never replace those that are lost, but knowing someone is there when you need them, and genuinely cares about you as a person, can be a boon for anyone in their time of need.

Either way, its not ours to discuss, so I'll drop it. I'm sure Yasmine can handle this without the Internet commentary. Just wanted to make a point that what works for one person doesn't always work for another.

I'm not looking tao...it's speculating down the road.. loosing 3 family members, a best friend, and my husband, last thing on my mind is finding someone. I was happy by myself for close to 5 years before he walked into my life.

I understand Yasmin. And in no way did I mean to minimize the losses you've ensured in such a short time. I've been through similar periods in my life thus my heart goes out to you.

Yasmin, i'm sorry i'm so late in hearing about your family loss. i know from personal experience how hard that is, in losing very close relatives myself. i don't think there is a perfect formula to dealing with that huge a loss. But i just had to stay busy and occupy my mind as much as possible as i dealt with it. Thanks for tuning in and sharing.
i always did wonder how you were doing and what you were up to. Really gad to hear you're Ok and i wish you well and you all the best.
