It is a contradiction, lol.... men want us to be able to function and shoot loads (a belief that is perpeutated by TS porn stars who either are not on hormones or do a cycling regimen) but that requires us NOT Being on hormones and still having our testicles, yet, they want us to be on hormones because of its feminizing effects.

    A contradiction, no?

I hate it when men start to harp on about my genitalia and try to get it erect in bed and that just makes things worse, feeling pressured to "function" and my thing hides even further. lol
Yeah, this is because of porn. But to be fair, you don't need hormones to have a feminine face. It's true that if you're not excessively masculine to start with then the subtle fat redistribution in your face will make a significant difference in how you're read by strangers. But it's nothing compared to bone structure. I'm 27 and only started on hormones a couple years ago, so definitely hoping I can afford FFS soon. Like I said, hormones are really more for me than anyone else.

Isnt it to my understanding...That hormones can only do such much for you..

Then the body begins to level off, just as is with anything over looooong periods of time????

Then you start getting into the region damaging your liver and/or OTHER health from all the pills and what not over LONG TERM use???

Not totally sure what you mean. I mean, it's not like they're going to turn your cock inside out no matter how long you take them. So I guess you could interpret that as they "only do so much for you." But I think what they do is pretty damn important.

Hormones will produce all female secondary sexual characteristics, they just can't get rid of some male ones like facial hair or masculine bone structure. Puberty lasts for around 7 years whether it's caused by ovaries or pills/injections, but most of the changes you'll notice pretty soon after your testosterone drops and would go away pretty immediately if you stopped hormones.

As for damage to your liver, my doctor says there isn't a significant long term risk with pills. Besides, it seems like at least half the trans women I know do injections instead. Antiandrogens carry most of the risk, which is why I wish medical protocols treated orchiectomy as more of a serious option.

I don't care what they take as long as they are healthy, feminine, sexy and fun.

For the most part this is pretty much true. The risk of liver damage is one reason why I decided to get castrated, so I wouldn't have to ingest anymore spironolactone. The risk varies though depending on which form of estrogen you're taking though.

I think we must separate things. Personally, I only enjoy porn, specially when the actress get hard and cum. Yes, it is desirable that she looks pretty on video. But that's something that I understand to happen only in porn movies and shouldn't expect from girls under hormones out of the industry. In my opinion, those are two different ways for two different preferences and life styles. Unfortunately, at least in Brazil, many just would like to not be in porn industry, but MUST be due to prejudice. And that makes girls that really don't want to be porn actresses to work in the industry, despite under hormones.
Guys and TS-porn fans are not always contradictory. Sometimes reality is.
