Transformation 96: The International Issue
Transformation Magazine is pleased to announce the 1st ever International Issue. This issue features 20+ girls from every continent on the planet PLUS part 1 of a special 2-part series of interviews. (Read part 2 of each interview online in the weeks to come!)
In order to obtain a wide variety of content, Transformation used crowd sourcing and encouraged readers to submit people who they wanted to hear from. The International Model Search was born, and girls from all over the globe were submitted to the magazine in the following weeks.
Progress can be slow, but it is gained each and every day thanks to the people seen in this issue who represent trans life where they live and who show the true meaning of beauty, international or otherwise. For the first time ever, Transformation will publish a special two part series of interviews, 50% in print and 50% online (so stay tuned for more!):
Europe: Lina Cavalli (Russia), Sadie Kross (Finland), Kimber Lee (Germany), Angelina Valls (France), Judith Wilde (Spain)
Africa: Cleopatra Kambugu (Uganda), Audrey Mbugua (Kenya)
Asia: Shelbe Chang (Taiwan), Jennifer Wang (Hong Kong), Fish (Thailand), Mimi Glamour (Philippines)
North America: Shemale Allison (Canada), Trixxy Von Tease (USA), Mona Vela (Mexico), Eva Cassini (USA), Jacquie Blu (Cherokee), Daveena Badree (Trinidad and Tobago)
South America: Bianka Nascimento (Brazil), Nikki Montero (Chile)
Australia: Marissa Minx (Australia)
It is these warriors who are celebrated in this issue, the ones living their authenticity, being visible every day despite the risks, standing tall in the face of adversity in order to blaze a trail for those who may be too frightened to do so.
The cover of Issue 96 features Amonphan Wauchakool aka Fish aka @ShemaleFish of Thailand who was submitted in the International Model Search.
After receiving all of the submissions, we loved how Fish really took the time to show us the culture of Thailand.
Following the geographic theme throughout the issue, Transformation 96 takes a snapshot of global histories, news, events and progress that has been made. Included are maps courtesy of the Movement Advancement project or MAP (lgbtmap.org) showing the geographic trends of laws in the United States. Transformation also has a worldwide look at transgender surgeries. A special feature on cultural beauty hacks reveals secrets from every corner of the globe. "The Cultures of Herstory" depicts historical accounts and stories of a third gender in various contexts. "Reigning Over What's Right" features the Queens of Ireland and England; Panti Bliss and Asifa Lahore as they answer the call for gay rights in Europe.
As always, Transformation 96 features it's reader letters, correspondence corner, columns and articles. Michelle Austin encourages readers to keep dreaming in her editorial "Tgirls Life" and interviews photographer, videographer and director Ames Bexxx in the "FTM Spotlight". In "Girl Talk" Randi June establishes some foundations for your feminine figure. June also answers reader letters in her column "Ask Aunt Randi". Sally Bend reviews "Everybody Knows: Transgender Love Stories", by Giselle Renarde, in her column "Bending the Bookshelf".
Transformation 96 includes images from so many great photographers. Adam Bouska, Altomic Visuals, Damien Cain, Chokchai, Isa De Luik, Endla Studio Tallinn, Manuel Jacob, Jade, Las Vegas Chicas, Samantha Lauzon, Andy Luvers, Pentti Manninen, Sam Melborne, Katy Migiro (Reuters), Gregory Neudecker, Otola Photography, Marcelo Panda, Alessandro Pelosi, Phillip Rivers, James Smith, Lennart Takanen, Touch Brandon and Johnny Von Wallström all helped to make Transformation 96 possible.
That which unites us all is our shared calling to carry the fire of trans acceptance and recognition to every corner of the globe. Together we will keep it alight forever.

A CHAT WITH TRANSFORMATION 96 COVER GIRL @SHEMALEFISH (PART TWO):
Fish, Thailand
TWITTER: @ShemaleFish
What do you like to do in your free time? Shopping of course, I love to go out with my friends and buy nice clothes. Hanging out in shopping malls, dining and going to cinemas. I also love listening to music, being home alone dancing to music by Beyoncé for hours. I love to laugh with friends.
Are there any memorable characters who had impact on your life? Beyoncé – of course. The first time I saw the video of “CRAZY IN LOVE” her beautiful skin, dance moves, and sexy voice inspired me. I wanted to be like her. She is a hard working woman that is following her dream, so I do.
Health is very important to you. What are some of your top tips? Fruits and vegetables are delicious and very healthful. I love almost all kinds. My ex-boyfriend introduced me to natural herbs – these make you strong and healthy. I suggest the combination of these three to all of you. It cleans the body and makes you beautiful – like me (lol).
Unfortunately, I can’t cook at all (smile).
What are you the most proud of so far in your life ? What are you working towards now? I am proud to be the person I am right now – Fish – It was hard to be the person I am right now.
I am happy that many people around the world know me as a nice person. I am very proud that I have mastered all negative obstacles in my life. I am dreaming of being an international transgender model for fashion and lingerie or maybe an international porn star (smile) haha.
What has acceptance come to mean to you? I am more than happy and delighted that my family, especially my mother, the person I love most in the world, is still loving me same or even more than before as a transsexual in my family. I am proud that my family supports me and that my mom is proud of me in what I am doing and what I am.

Re: Transformation 96: The International Issue
Hi - silly question maybe if I missed info elsewhere..
But is this available digitally in any way? I for one (being in the UK) would like the chance to buy the current issue and previous ones to read on a tablet.

Re: Transformation 96: The International Issue
Thanks, darkrose2000. It was a lot of fun to do and I really enjoyed working on it! Much love goes out to all the girls who did these interviews in their non native languages. They are the rockstars here, and we can't thank them enough for participating. It is indeed available in Europe and the UK, however with a recent distribution changeover we are not sure as to the new distribution locations. I will try and get some more information on that ASAP. We have been uploading them digitally on>>> skinmagz. Issues 94 + 95 are there and we are trying to get 96 approved just as soon as possible. We also have no problem shipping it to you directly from centurianonline.com cheers xoxoxo

Re: Transformation 96: The International Issue
Hi Lester316, not a silly question! We have been uploading them digitally on>>> skinmagz. Issues 94 + 95 are there and we are trying to get 96 approved just as soon as possible. We also have back issue PDF downloads available at centurianonline, but we generally wait one year before releasing them in that format. The difference between skinmagz and our PDF's is that on the skinmagz platform you can only view our magazines, you can't download them and (potentially) share them. Maybe we are silly, but this is to protect the content from being distributed by a 3rd party. Hope this answers your question. As I mentioned above, we love our print still and have no problem shipping it anywhere in the world cheers xoxoxo

Re: Transformation 96: The International Issue
Thanks for the kind words nysprod!
The people you see in this issue illustrate trans life in their corner of the world, and help show us the true meaning of beauty, international or otherwise. Our two part interviews cover both the cultural heritage and personal beliefs of these brave individuals, and inspire greater understanding of transgender experiences around the world. This next interview is from Finland and we discovered her through the Grooby network. Soooo hot!

What do you like to do in your free time? What comes to hobbies gym and running are on top. Doing workout is a way of life for me. I also go shooting range, and shoot also with a bow. Would like to start Krav Maga again after a break. Modeling is also one thing I enjoy a lot, but it's quite occasional thing as it's really hard to find photographers in Finland due my background.
Do you have any fantasies? I believe everyone has ;D But it's another story (;
Transition is physical, emotional, and social, all of which present different types of challenges. Tell us about your experience of them if you could. Biggest challenge was physical, and maybe still is a bit. I've undergone a lot of surgeries and learning to speak with a new tone was also a huge challenge. Surgeries require money and acquiring that money has caused a lot of stress. Recovering from them hasn't feel like an issue. I haven't faced any discrimination, but have found myself kind of like an outcast, lonely. People have a lot of prejudices which has brought a lot disappointments. It has become really hard to find good and genuine people into my life. Luckily my family hasn't let me down.
What are you the most proud of so far in your life? What are you working towards now? That I accepted the challenge to transition. There's still some work to be done, but my main goal is now to establish a serious relationship. I value partnership and relationships with people over material.
Describe the 2-3 events that most shaped your life. I was bullied throughout my youth which taught me to survive and mental toughness. Admitting for myself that I'm a transgender and going for transition allowed to be myself. It took a lot of weight off my shoulders.
What is the best advice you've ever received? Best gift? I don't know is this actually advice, but I was encouraged to do transition. When looking afterwards, if I would not have done it I wouldn't feel whole. Maybe it can be put in words "dare to be who you really are.”
What gets you riled up enough to lose your temper? If someone gets me to lose my temper it's really an achievement Usually it requires a lot of work and continuous bugging over something. Maybe the easiest way is to assume I would be just some sex object who exists to fulfill fantasies. Like I wouldn't be a human being with emotions. Besides that I don't tolerate abusing, mental or physical violence.
Fitness is very important to you. What are some of your top tips? It's all mental (; I do fitness 5-7 times a week. I have days when I would like to skip workout, but it's mostly pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Having a clear goal is a necessity. Like in everything I do, I set a goal and then it gets much easier to achieve something.
