We can't ignore statistics.people of color commit the majority of violent crimes but not because being black means you have an innate propensity for violence but because the majority of people in poverty in this country is colored.we all know poverty breeds violence and desperation.
I'm black but I'm not going to ignore facts for the sake of being politically correct.

Ok just had some email conversations with Eva and she said she's "healing really well".

Eva generally has a good positive outlook, I've a lot of time for her, so I hope she'll be okay.

Due to the nature of the crime, she's informed me the DA and police are all over it - so the best thing we can do is circulate that photographer to as many outlets as you can.

Actually to be honest with most of peoples comments on here....NYC is actaully going to take this more serious since she is transgender then being hetosexual. On abc news they mention she is transgender on cbs they don't.

The Anti-Violence project here in NYC is a BIG orginazation for the LBGT Community!! http://www.avp.org/ They will give her free resources, advice and even a free representation. There is also the Victims Crime Board that will handle her medical expenses if need be. The Anti-Violence project will be all over the NYPD to handle this case!! They have full time staff that works on these things 7 days a week!!
