I had three double Singletons last night, Dan.

Probably had just about the same quantity of Oban double matured, 14 years. Quite nice, actually! Very well balanced mix of salt, wine, sea breeze and malt.
Unfortunately, the Singleton is one we don't have any of around here...

One of the newer kids on the block, Dan. Only been around since the 70s, but the age of the distillery belies the dark complexity of the product. Unusual for Speyside, imo. Worth seeking out.
