25 years in Los Angeles I don't believe I went to Downey once welcome to the forum Danika.

You're not missing much, M8. I wouldn't trade the Hollywood/Silverlake area for Downey any day.

I remember going to Downey once as a kid. They have a theme park/restaurant that gives tribute to the company the city was named after. I still get woozy thinking about this one ride that I went on that simulates the experience of being a piece of fabric softener getting knocked around in a dryer. It's not as fun as it sounds.

Downey I do believe one the original McDonalds is there.
Also signer Karen Carpenter (R.I.P.) went to Downey High School.

Hollyweird/Los Feliz/Silverlake that's a hard area beat.
How I truly miss going into Cheetah's abd getting 4 lapdances from this gorgeous lass from the Czech Republic and she was so nice to me and would always tip her extremely well and was ever grateful she would always buy me a shot of Jameson Irish Whisky.
Also I practically lived at Circus Books and would often eat at the El Pollo Loco located right next door.
