Can someone explain to me what 4chan / chansluts is? Somehow my pics ended up there, I commented on them, and then I think I got banned?? Or is the server just down?

4chan is the dregs of the Internet. It's 16 year old trolls posting stupid pictures to each other. The main board on the site is called /b/, which is "random". They call themselves /b/tards and are anonymous. There are several other sites with similar -chan names but 4chan is the largest by far.

Chansluts is a split-off of ChanChan, which is a split off of 4chan. It's pretty much a place where they have the camwhores stashed. Attention grabbing as they are, several (male, female, MTF, FTM) have their own mini-boards and reserved usernames.

Sometimes people are respectful, sometimes they "invade" other sites and people's lives. Cracky-chan was a good example of this. She was a camwhore and posted pics of herself (including supposedly naked ones, although it turned out she was underage). People got obsessed with her and someone even posted her address and photo of her house. She eventually got fed up and they actually banned pics of her on 7chan so there is some precedent, although it's rare.

It sucks but it's hard to keep your stuff off of there. My photos from two years ago still are popular, it's crazy. >.<
