Not really a surprise. Good for her.

She had the full sex change last year I believe. Not really a shock,if you were following her on twitter and tumblr.

Her facebook was changed to female also last year and her brother Igor posted a message then that "he was proud of his sister".

It's sad the way the media and public only seem to acknowledge a woman is trans if she gets SRS. If you're preop, the tend to slip into calling TS women 'man'.

The reason being she hadn't come out as woman,totally rejecting her male identity before.There was always an ambiguity about her chosen gender identity , until a few day ago.


For example,he singer of Against Me, Laura Jane Grace, hasn't had the bottom surgery,but is referred to with female pronouns and is considered a woman by the press and fans.
