When I was younger I had girlfriends who were white, black, chinese, british asian, ie. indian, French, German, Norwegian. Hell, I even married an English girl!

Race had nothing to do with it on either side. They were pretty girls, nice people and we liked each other, no hang-ups. Only time that ever happened was when as a Scots presbyterian by upbringing I went out with a catholic girl - not a good idea in Glasgow!

So I'm puzzled and dismayed to find that a lot of the discussion here is polarised between black and white in the US. Granted that isn't universal, but it's sad all the same.

This is HA, where like similar forums, the only thing most people want is for their own peculiarities to be accepted (i.e. their being or being attracted to transsexuals). That is the end of the "acceptance" sought by most, the site thus being a microcosm of society at large. Actually, it's an excellent indicator of where society really is, as people are far more courageous given the anonymity lent by the internet than they would be otherwise. So, that black, BBW, or particularly tall transsexuals are regarded as they are here and on various other sites is no surprise whatsoever to me.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that most guys, regardless of race, age or any other concern, are in the closet on the matter of transsexuals, which is to say that the only exposure to transsexuals they will ever allow will be on internet sites such as this. They will flatter this girl or that at the drop of a hat, but they will never actually interact with transsexuals in fact, nor if a situation arose where a transsexual was being verbally and probably even physically attacked by one of their friends or even a complete stranger would they take any action that might identify them as being compassionate to the transgendered community. I think most of the women here know that, and I suspect that this is one of the reasons for the general distaste some women have expressed for their male "fans" here in the past. I'm sure this is more widespread, but only a select few have been openly hostile with any kind of regularity, interspersing comments about people not understanding what they go through as transwomen between less logical accusations. It's a sad situation when a girl tries to make a living selling bric-a-brac to people she despises, but that seems to stop very few from going that route so I won't complain too loudly on their behalf.

You lost me at the end. The fact of the matter is that none of the girls here are actually selling bric-a-brac, unless that's code for selling sex. It is however a sad situation when some girls are transparently and/or openly hostile and clearly despise the very clientele who ultimately are responsible for putting money in the girls' pockets. Other than that, what was your point?

Anyway, I'd define bric-a-brac in this case as pushing website memberships, dates of travel (with regard to escorts), etc.... Perhaps I should have said "this, that and the other" or somesuch, but you understood my meaning well enough.

As to girls being hostile with the very clientele who feed them, I know for a fact fewer girls are openly hostile than are actually disgusted by their clientele. When with little provocation things degenerate into guys being called "fags" or "tranny chasers", pay attention to who throws around those labels. I should think most transsexuals despise guys who go on about how beautiful they are and how much they'd like to suck them off and/or bottom for them when this is being done on a porn site. And how often do we see that here? To be valued only so long as you have a functional penis while wanting to be recognized as a woman... It's easy to understand the revulsion, but as I said, if it's not bad enough for them to seek other means to make money, that's on them. I do understand the disgust though.

You still lost me... how precisely (or even generally) does this relate to the OPs original observation about the seemingly disproportionate negativity about black TS women? You seem to be beating your own drum about a completely different topic.
