And sadly, even a nifty edit option couldn't mask that idiocy...

Dude, you're really reaching...yet not grasping the point unfortunately.

Of course everyone has their particular interests that may not appeal to everyone else. However, finding humor in those differences is far from hypocritical. I didn't call them kooky, evil anime freaks who'll burn in hell for their abnormal love of Japanese cartoons.

This pc hypersensitivity that makes it so that no one can stand outside of themselves and find the humor is simply annoying.

Life's not a bitch, life is a beautiful woman
You only call her a bitch because she won't let you get that pussy
Maybe she didn't feel y'all shared any similar interests
Or maybe you're just an asshole who couldn't sweet talk the princess

A great point, but I fear that it is lost upon the village bafflewit.

Life is essentially one long Benny Hill skit punctuated by the occasional Anne Frank moment.

BTDT, met Sulu, Chekov, Scotty, and Spock's mom. Also Stephen King, Anne McCaffery, Terry Pratchett, et al.

But oh! I =so= want to go to the AVN next year.

    Is there a costume competition?

You sound like a true trekkie fan, which series do you prefer?

What was it that Shatner said on that SNL skit?

"Move out of your parent's basement and get a life!"

One of my ex-lovers divorced a man that went back to his mom's basement and watched Trek religiously.

    Trek-er (Fan) not Trek-ie (Obsessed, I wanna have Kirk's love-child, fanatic).

Hmm...I think I prefer ST:TNG best, though I have a few fave episodes of DSN. I've got the thumpa-thumpas for Dax (The ultimate TG species). Though I honestly haven't seen enough of Voyager and Enterprise to form an opinion on those. Caught Patrick Stewart in San Jose a couple yeras back and though he appreciated the Trek audience, he was impressed that we knew of his other roles (Geoffrey, Dune, Scrooge, etc.).

    Hillarious vid.

I noticed the best part of the entire bit. About half of the people, while explaining their character, get a distinct look in their eyes: A look that says, "Oh my god, I never realized how retarded this is."

I've been present for some of these revelations. It's scary.
