rar files are a bitch, go on youtube and search playing rar files

.Rar is simply a file extension used by Winrar.

This software is a competitor of winzip, and in many opinions vastly superior.

To uncompress and or use the file within the rar(extract etc) download winrar @ http://www.rarlab.com/

This is an instructional video on Rar's. Ignore the funny accent, she might be speaking another language but you'll get some tips at least.

u need winrar and u need to have all of the pieces or it will not merge...

Or you can try rarmonkey, freeware. I've found it very good for decompressing and assembling rar files in one easy step
