Naked Lunch is a tough read. Burroughs is interesting as fuck as a person but man his books can be frustrating.

They're the type of books you want to keep visible on your book shelf to give people the impression that you've actually read them.

Cronenberg is like David Lynch in which nearly all his films find a cult audience.

I like the earlier Cronenberg films like Shivers, Rabid, The Brood, and Scanners the best. Any one of those would be great for a midnight showing at a theater.
