Thats way before my time, but I've actually kicked it with Spoonie Gee, and Ced G from Ultramagentic Mcs a few time as of recent. Both still have their chops

    My opinion on the 3.....

Nas - A Legend. One of the greatest to ever hold the mic

Kanye - Great producer. Ok MC. A lil too soft for my taste.

Jay-Z - Probably the most overrated MC in Hip Hop history.

I agree with you on Nas and Jigga, but Kanye my second favorite MC of all time and one of my favorite producers. His album lyrics are soft, but his mixtapes lyrics come hard. Which is funny, to hear Kanye rapping about guns and stuff like that. He also spit a lot of hard double entendres that might be hard for people to pick up unless they're from Chicago.

Ex. "Got family in the D, kinfolk from Mo-Town. Back in the Chi, them folks ain't from Moe-Town"

Jay-Z is overrated? I counter with "Reasonable Doubt." There isn't a more lyrical album than that.

"You cats is home, screaming the fight's on
I'm in the fifteen hundred seats watching Tyson
    Same night
    Same fight
But one of us cats aint playing right
    Ill let you tell it"

Thank you. It's been drivin' me fuckin' crazy. There was a pirate FM station in my neighborhood back then that played the shit out of it.
