i was watching and she was beautiful. there was a funny moment when ms. james was up there and povich is asking people 'boy or girl'. some said boy, most all said girl. then one girl in audience said "i don't know but it's hot". yes. does anyone know who daisy is? her body is wonderland - population: my mouth.

The poster was refering to Maury not Tyra and her ego.

well, the "is it a boy or a girl" type shows won't stop until transsexuals stop going on there so don't blame it on maury..when these ladies stop accepting the invitations to be on tv to say "i'm a man"..then maybe maury will try to do the type of shows tyra and her ego have done.

Very good point! I was not blaming Maury though, sorry if it came out as if I was, I was simply stating that the show should take a turn and educate on the issue. And you are totally right....it has to start with the community wanting to change the Stereotype! The media tends to capitalize on stereotypes! And I did watched the Tyra TG show, but the thread was not referring to all the shows. For that matter the latin channel Univision have had more educational shows on TS community with Don Fransico Show than any other talk show, but that would be a whole different thread!

I know it's a little iffy the whole "BoY" thing for the t girls who go on the show but the truth is it's done in a way where the girls are portrayed as sexy so it's not totally negative.

Oh and the formula on the show is if they are wearing an obvious wig then it's a gg trying to look like a t.

I'm sorry but for the ones bitching about the show. Come on its a show for comedy and a good time. Not to change the world. My lord, fine you don't like how it portrays transsexuals WHY DID YOU WATCH IT? Don't support it? I had a lot of fun on the show. I wish they would of showed the parts of where guys in the audience were flirting with me, instead of during the commercial where the guy says I don't want to say what sex it is etc I have pics with him and quite a few other guys that were hitting on me after the show they asked me to come down from the green room to take pics. It was a fun experience not a bad one.
