Jimi did so many great ones, I could probably list 20 or more. Previous posts have mentioned two of my favorites, Red House and All Along the Watchtower. The latter, was written by Bob Dylan, who was one of Jimi's inspirations.

Actually, it's a toss-up between:
All Along The Watch Tower ...... and
The Wind Cries Mary.....

Pick up the Box Set, there is a 7 minute instrumental of Axis Bold as Love that is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.....it was a studio outake...Jimi got into one of his zones......he is my favorite artist of all time...too bad he died 6 years before I was born.....

DOLLY DAGGER and any other with Mich Mitchell on drums . Buddy Miles couldnt come close to Mitch and I thought the whole Band of Gypsies sucked big time.

Thanks, that was cool. Coincidentally, just before getting back on the puter I purchased the Jimi Hendrix Track Pak 2 for Guitar Hero World Tour.
It's tough to pick a favorite Hendrix song, cuz that could change by next week. For today I choose Stone Free.
