It is really touching to read this. There is a lot of sensitivity in this little letter. A lot of whispered love too. It's very sweet and almost naive when your dad says 'I hope you are the same person'. That's how he loved and loves you. No matter the changes, we always stay true to our heart.
On a lighter note, he seems to have sent you quite a few emails.

& told me she loved me.
This has drawn us even closer together.

Great to read that, missing your parents in your life leaves a large hole.

congrats... is that the right thing to say in this situation? dunno whatever it is consider it said
Elvis: I was dreamin'. Dreamin' my dick was out and I was checkin' to see if that infected bump on the head of it had filled with pus again. If it had, I was gonna name it after my ex-wife 'cilla and bust it by jackin' off.

I know it’s a very intimate and personal part of your life and I’m sooo happy you shared it with us. I’m a bit teary eyed here. No one can know another’s despair but I just want to offer that I too struggle with the gulf that divides us all too often from our families. Your post has granted me hope.
