Lil Wayne is by far the best. because he is consistent. he can change his style up, he tries something different. he has been on almost everything and he doesn't sound the same. he appeals not only to the black community but the white community as well.

Hip-Hop is not dying it is evolving. if hip-hop was the same today as it was back in the 90's then it would be dead. it changes with the times. that allows for new/newer talent to emerge.

every new generation will have its own music.

only ones i'd agree with though i wouldn't list wu-tang as a whole since there's sub-par mc's included (u-god, cappadonna). same with jurassic 5. i never liked common, jadakiss or big l. haven't really heard enough of styles p. i love most of his early stuff but krs one never seemed like an mc who had a great flow though his lyrics were usually excellent. vinnie paz is alright but i don't think JMT has been the same since jus allah left, though he's back on the new album.
