There are excellent reasons to have serious doubts about Evon"s claim re Stanford's B school...if she's wants to come here to announce it that's fine, but to expect that everyone is simply going to believe what she says isn't realistic. Saying nothing is good but when someone initiates the discussion, expect there to be multiple responses.

On the other hand, if a girl posts her pics and says "I hope you like the," I'm not going to express a negative opinion if I don't...but neither will I offer false praise.

I agree. She should've have known how folks would have reacted to said statement, especially since she did post here a bit previously. Personally I would have made that statement within my own circle of friends, not to some random faceless strangers (for the most part).

my reasoning for the original post is, that while fundamentally I agree with you, I believe that some guys (not all) just don't know when to let something go

they could've stopped at "I don't believe you" and just gotten the hell out. but, nooooo, they insisted more and more like if they needed to prove something to themselves.

they do this more often than we think. and if the management allows it, so be it.

if they don't care that the amount of girls posting here is at an all time low (well at least since I started here in 2007), that's their deal.

Of the transexuals I know, one is in her 40s and so absorbed in her (successful) businesses she hasn't time for email, text messages, facebook etc and thus no interest in forums of any kind. I did once know an escort who posted a few messages on Hungangels but had a loyal clientele and was not interested in engaging in the kind of debates that take place here, and another escort who simply couldn't be bothered. Two girls I know who are in their late 20s communicate, mostly for their friends via Facebook, Instagram and twitter, with Instagram now taking precedence where a few years ago it was twitter and in two years time will probably be something else. RobertLouis was candid about where he was born and grew up, where he lives, what he looks like, and what he does for a living, yet became the object of vitriolic abuse by people, some of whom were insisting that EvonRose provide scans of her academic qualifications in exactly the same way some Americans a few years ago insisted that Barack Obama provide birth certificates, dental records, fingerprints and god knows what else, to prove that he is indeed Barack Obama -the hypocrisy of some people would be beyond belief were it not inscribed in the posts they have submitted to this forum. If people can post here, they can just as easily visit Stanford University's MBA website where its fees are clearly stated, and draw their own conclusions, even though the whole of the truth of what they know about a certain person is less clear. There are times when it would be best to follow the advice of Seamus Heaney: whatever you say, say nothing.

So what happened to Stavros ? Was he banned or just decided to "say nothing"? He hasn't posted anything for 4 weeks.
Either way, his insightful and articulate input is sorely missed around here.
