IT’S BEEN REPORTED this morning that the Government is to consider lowering the age at which transgender people can apply for legal recognition.
A bill is currently in development that would see transgender people being able to register their new identity from the age of 18.
But proposals from Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton may bring that age down to 16. We want to know of you agree.

So today’s poll,
Should the age of transgender recognition be lowered?
