that reminds me: i saw a documentary on native tribes in papua new guinea such as huli wigmen of tari highland who spend all day applying (their own form of) makeup and fixing their hair to look beautiful whilst the women do all the work (from building the house to cooking etc).

also, some tribes such as the etoro and sambia require boys to drink the semen of older male members of the tribe as semen is seen as being the true source of life and homosexuality is believed to prolong your life.

in essence: what they do is pretty much similar to a lot of what a hung angel would go thru- but without the social stigma we apply to this lifestyle and no srs or breast implants (or female hormones).

the downside is some of them are also cannibals but i suppose, you can't win them all
