When you say downtown what areas are u talking about? Around the main plaza, close to the bridge, the streets around gusanos? Also, what time of day/night is best? Though the violence has calmed down a bit, in other border towns the rule is that any time after 11 the risk level goes up thus it's best to head home.

Any American who chooses to travel to Nuevo Laredo is not only fucking stupid, but has a death wish. Here are 3 good reasons to chase tgirl ass somewhere else:

1. Los Zetas, probably the most brutal cartel, is fucking HEADQUARTERED in Nuevo Laredo.
2. Los Zetas has made it known they are targeting U.S. citizens.
3. Nuevo Laredo's police chief AND his two brothers were killed this week by the cartel.

Nuevo Laredo is very likely the most dangerous place on earth at the moment. Anyone who claims otherwise is an idiot.

I know this is an old thread, but here goes
I was in Nuevo Laredo last night. guisano and faena are still open and crowded at night. there were a few decent looking tgirls in the street also. I did not go to boystown.
