I've written and recorded a number of songs ABOUT industries - steel, shipbuilding, fishing etc - but I guess they don't qualify under this definition.

Robert louis... maybe "Music While you Work" qualifies? it used to be played in Britain's factories in the 1940s and 1950s to promote industrial productivity?

On a note more in accord with the taste of those who started this thread, a UK band called Test Department offered what many view to be "real" industrial music some years ago. This is a powerful taster. They used to play in old warehouses, building sites, and utilise the available metal and other found material in their locale married to normal instruments.
