cost is a big hurdle indeed when shooting high quality hardcore scenes ...for me to shoot a hardcore scene exlclusively for me its like £300-350 pounds for a female/ts model, then photography fee, maybe location fee if i need to shoot elsewhere from my own location..

Take in the editing time, hosting fee, billing provider cut etc ..you can see why gonzo/pov is so populer for models/producers to shoot.. i would love to shoot full on scenes with 2 cameras, exquisite locations but its just not viable the ROI isnt there for a website vehicle ..... compared to what i can make just simply sitting on my webcam in my bedroom for half a day ... when you consider you can make £1000+ in a week of webcamming...it kind of shames what you make shooting porn as a model as this is from the comfort of your own home .. no travelling etc.

You can see why so many girls are dropping out of porn, not really bothering with it as a short career path etc.. its just easier and more cost effective to escort/webcam and sell your own clips/amateur bits and bobs on sites like clips4sale, clips.com etc ...but as the majority of models are escorts and use porn scenes just to gain more promo for their personal services ...

As steven says the golden age of shemale porn is gone .. I think the industry needs to change and something has to change with all the filesharing sites/tubes etc ...

but as to porn being boring its subjective as everyperson is different to what floats there boat ...

connection speeds play a massive part correct ...but as now connections are getting faster and cheaper i think that within the next 12months people will have very fast upload/downlaod speeds that will make streaming perfectly viable ... hell netflix streams, lovefilm streams they do all ok with eh

I watch films via streaming (and I have very fast broadband) and invariably they stop about two third of the way through the movie! So t really needs to get better.

I understand that when you shoot for your own website, you are the star of the scene, so the prices for the other model is lower. But what are the prices of other websites like smc/grooby/devilsfilms etc where you come on their site?

Thats incorrect actually, the fee for another model is not lower at all if you want to own the scene (not shared- and the other model is a female or TS) and the rate for a pro male is the same also regardless.

The only less cost is yourself but uhm you get paid via signups or sales if you get any so no basically

Only works out cheaper if you share a scene but then the content is not exclusive... or take a chance on a non pro model (new to it all bla bla ) and well that can go either way lol

varies mayrah i have a couple of flat rates i charge per scene but as i am from the uk we dont have any TS multigirl sites here, we dont have a DVD tranny range etc ...the only work we get is our own sites, and maybe the odd shoot from a random uk company that is experimenting ..

My fee also depends on what is required of me .. for example if someone wanted me to shoot a double penetration then i am going to charge more for that .

I have asked girls to shoot for me on my site and they wanted silly money , others have been really nice and dropped their standard rates they charge the big sites as i am solo independant and dont have the budgets ...but generally i only shoot with my friends ...or friends of friends .

I have been offered shoots for evil angel, devils films but alas cant fulfil them at present due to me not being able to legally shoot in the usa a performer .. until we can work out a workaround we get the bum deal here lol

Some models can command higher model fees it does seem dependant on their exposure etc ...but the question is why pay 1 named model x fee, when i could shoot 2 other girls for the same amount ..thats a better ROI ...the name of the game is content, content is king ...
