i don't think it's a myth, but it's about finding out. Since passable TS women who aren't escorts, and in a still transphobic environment, will keep low and only disclose to those whom they trust looking on Backpage orCraiglist, which after all exist generally to sell goods and services, doesn't cut it.

Exactly, i think trans people are about 0.3% of the population, and about 10% of guys having an interest in dating t-girls. Those odds suck for dudes who want to date a t-girl. I personally know several other t-girls who have done webcam and/or porn who date guys. As for me, I'm pan-sexual, but my best most stable relationships have with emotionally mature, stable men. For gods sake just go old school to a bar where the girls go - if they see you face to face and you seem like a decent human being then you have a shot. The internet is for sex work or the like and can match actual human interaction.

I've dated a couple of girls over the years and I met them either at a venue or through other girls I was friends with. It's not like I'm an Adonis either - but I can be fairly funny and charming and I treat people with respect and act like a gentleman around girls no matter what their birth gender and that's always seen me right. If the first thing you are interested in is whats between their legs then you are doomed.

Be prepared to fail though - it's just like any time you try to meet any girl, they always have a lot more choices than we do and unless you interest them they are just not going to jump into a relationship with you just because you want them too.

Why in the age of the internet people seem to have forgotten the basic normal way of finding a partner (through social situations) seem bizarre to me. TG girls are just like any other girls in most ways and whilst you may need to go to more specific places and have more specific sensitivities to certain things the process really is the same.
