This should make it more clear --->("...pines for mine." Mine, meaning their glory day(s) of me)

When someone wants me to change, for them, to how I was in the past, is irksome to me.

Someone who only wants me to remain how they wish me to be (how they saw me in the past and that image is the only one of me they see), and when I change, they usually get saddened to even kind of creepily obsessed and volatile.

This goes for fans, but also friends and acquaintances.

I was nowhere near the mark. Kudos Christian. Whether it is good or bad people like things they are familiar with and this happens to everyone. You know someone for sometime and like them for certain things and years later they become different and people will miss certain aspects of their old selves. Then again I look at life as ever changing nor do I care for the past. Today has enough problems for me to handle. That's just me (I am probably still off the mark and should give up, lol)
