Heard Some Sad News About Celeste

I heard the same, from a very reliable source (as in, her close friend before she became a public figure reliable), I have zero idea what the cause was, but it appears to be true. RIP.

If this is the Celeste we are referring to, then it is truly sad news -- very sad news -- if she has passed away.

My only meeting of Celeste came about 10 years ago when Peanuts was still the "go to" place in West Hollywood. The place was relatively crowded with a couple of hundred patrons at the time when she walked in and she immediately started making the rounds hugging all those she knew. She spotted Bob ("Bob's T-Girls"),who at the time was just a few feet away from me, gave a happy shriek, called his name, ran over, and gave him a big hug. Much to my shock, she spotted me standing by myself about 15 feet away, hurriedly walked over and gave me -- a total stranger to her -- a tight hug and said "Hello,how are you?". What I also remember is that she was even more beautiful in person with her trademark smile, and heavenly figure. She forever gained a fan with her unexpected hug and bubbly personality that night. ...She was so happy and so radiant that night.

That all being said, she's not only a public persona known by thousands of people, but one who personally left an indelible mark in my heart. It goes beyond her physical beauty and/or whatever porn image she might invoke. She was a human being who I happen to meet just once, and that in itself is enough for whatever "natural curiosity" is there to ramp itself up when hearing of such sad news. I'd like to know. It's that simple.

I don't think it's rude to want to know how she died. Part of the price of fame is relinquishing some privacy. After all, how one dies can reflect how they lived. Was it an accident, or via some terminal disease, which she couldn't prevent? Was it silicone injections gone bad,etc? Was it brought on through her own hands due to depression brought on by all the things our culture and society unfairly and wrongly burdened her with due to her gender? There are many scenarios and it all boomerangs back to the fact that she was just too young. She had it all,or so it seems. That's why such deaths can be so shocking and compelling. If she is truly gone, I guess it doesn't matter how she passed away, but the fact that she is gone truly saddens me. However she died, may she rest in peace.
