Here's a crazy theory based on nothing more than my wild imagination and love of mystery. Bear with me on this one. Wasn't she planning on SRS? What if she wishes to announce the death of her former self in order to reemerge under a different identity? She has her friend announce her "death", lies low for awhile, changes her name and lives her life as a vaginal woman under the radar. Somebody please write the screenplay!
