First of all, as stated, your terminology is wrong. Shemale is now widely considered a pejorative term used mainly by the ill informed and pervasive in porn.

That said, the umbrella term, transgender, encompasses all people who do not strictly ascribe to their birth gender for many MANY reasons.

Some people are motivated to transition fully and others are not. Whether a person only dresses up, takes hormones or has any number of surgeries is irrelevant because it is a,deeply personal choice that cannot be globally explained.

A transsexual want to be consider as a woman. But, she can prefer top in her sexual role.

But in reality, TS are mostly bottom. For porn or escort, TS need to be top because it is more valuable. Porn is not real life of TS.
