I noticed that. It's pretty amazing that Fox has lost 5% of it's viewership in the last year, and CNN 20%. It's even worse for the big two if you look at that 25-54 demo: Fox is down 19% and CNN 38%.
And it looks like Olberman on MSNBC only picked up a small share of those former Fox and CNN viewers, increasing its viewership a mere 8%.
Hopefully, someday soon, no one will watch crappy cable "news" programs.

I just can't believe that Greta Van Susteren gets those ratings. She sucked on CNN, and she sucks on Fox.

Life is essentially one long Benny Hill skit punctuated by the occasional Anne Frank moment.

What we have in the major media glom's is an arrogant "enlightened" aloofness. A culture which feels it's role in America is not simply to report the news, but also to offer perspective and analysis. Of course that perspective and analysis is not that of working Americans (they are of course "uneducated"). It's that of professional critics dining on veal tartar and toting $5,000 handbags as they bitch and whine about how unsustainable American extravagance is.
It's like how God made the Jews wander the paran desert for 4 generations so that the old wicked slave ways of the jews would die off with the old generations.
So must the aloof culture of Jennings, King and Dan Rathergate.
