To your first point, yes, traditionally in porn, the money shot is the guy cumming on his partner...but....
1) Traditionally, porn has been binary...gay porn where men cum on each other (i.e. 2 money shots are possible) or straight porn where there is only the dude is able to cum (squirters are relatively underrepresented in porn at large)
2) Traditionally porn is about a male consumer watching it and living vicariously through the dude in the scene so the money shot is supposed to help his fantasy about him doing the cumming.
3) Transgender erotica differs substantially from straight porn in that 2 money shots are possible so long as the girl is able to have one.

So with respect to solo scenes, if a ggirl is fucking herself, she can fake it and you'd never know and that's it. A transwoman has a verifiable end point.

With respect to a hardcore scene, I am not saying that the people above who want to see a girl cum don't want to see her take a shot in the face, but rather, a scene where only the dude cums could be disappointing to them. The best part about ts porn is that you can actually tell the woman had an orgasm. It's what makes ts porn so different then traditional porn.
