Go to your account profile and remove the info you entered when you registered.
Then remove the site from your bookmark
Lastly, and this is key, don't log in anymore. VOILA, your account is deleted.

Any mods care to answer? In light of recent events, obviously it is a perfectly sensible question, and any sites which don't allow this facility will have less users than they otherwise would.
