They are free to pass any law that the Federal government does not decide on. The Supreme court ruled on it many people who don't know american Government, which is most people including those who reside in this nation, would be confused. The Supreme court can rule on pretty much anything if they decide a law is unconstitutional or that equality is being hampered.

Last time I checked my I.D says FEMALE and I am a FEMALE who happens to be transgender. So I'm not sure what gay rights or same sex marriage laws has to do with me. I do find it disconcerting that so many people have this idea that being trans is exclusively a gay thing, and I can assure you its a major turn off when men are this ignorant.

On the other hand people need to be educated on trans issues much more, and there is a severe lack of TRANSGENDER rights or education on who we are as a society. I want to see some laws relevant to ME and my life as a trans woman. It's a little scary when a) straight men LOVE trans women and b) gay men DON'T, but the straight men who are attracted to us think they are bi or gay for doing so, and as a result it's made me run far away from a lot of bachelors trying to win my affections.

Well, if you'd all(trans) get together and actually agree on, well, anything, the rest of us (men) might have a chance.
But lets be honest, there's more chance of hell freezing over than there is of a group of wimmin agreeing on something!

Personally, I would consider you as a woman and class myself as straight (and yes I am attracted to you ).

But, what you think, what I think, what others think and what the law says could all be different...
