FYI You can get your birth certificate changed even before having GRS. So in some states it didn't matter.

I wasn't aware of that. It was my understanding that legally you're the gender you were born as until after you have SRS. Didn't know it was different in some states.

Anywhere except Texas----appears they have issued an order to all state agencies to grant marriage licenses to male-female couples only.

i saw on facebook that the Texas county i grew up in has already issues marriage licenses to several same sex couples, so not sure how that is being carried out throughout the state. Originally Posted by THEbottom
