I do wonder if detranstion rates might be higher among trans sex workers and models than the general trans population, but I doubt anyone has isolated for trends that specific.

In another old thread on this forum someone spoke about men that transition only to have more chances to earn money in sex work. So these can't be considered real transwomen. In this thread a lot of pages before I've posted a link from another forum in brazillian language where a known transwoman speak about to retire and back to live as a man after a final world tour like transwoman.

Just digging into it a little bit, reliable detransition perfecentages seem really hard to come by, with anti-trans groups promoting numbers as high as 25% and trans activists claiming it's really rare at 1% or less. It is worth noting that even the bigger numbers promoted by the anti-trans groups suggests the overwhelming majority of trans women do not detransition.
