To the first part, I'll remember that the next time I need a plumber or an electrician...

As to the second, in hindsight, maybe I poorly worded the thread title, but I made it clear in the opening post that the full facts are not yet known. Her death may be nothing to do with her lifestyle.

Just brings home the risks involved to both escort and client .The escort and her safety - and the client and his privacy .
There are obviously people targeting escorts for robbery ect .But the the client is also in danger of police turning up to his home on impending investigation..
I'm really considering giving it all up .

Running down that dream, you interpret partially correct, and I do emphasise partially. I don't consider myself to be selfish for warning someone of danger! How does that work? C'mon to fuck it's like if a kid plus chicken with a car, yeah I don't think he deserves to die, but I'm certainly not gonna shed a tear for him. I mean seriously, has the whole world gone fucking mental or am I just missing something?

You look at her pictures, and see that her choice of career paid for louis vuitton handbags, and £400 boots, but what good are they to her now? was it worth it? Obviously not. I keep trying to tell someone I know the same thing, but some people just don't listen.

I hope you re-read your posts and take note that you are projecting your own issues onto someone who is tragically no longer with us; just because you have a 'friend' doesn't mean this situation is similar in any way. You have no idea how she valued things or how she chose to live. Just because someone can afford to have nice things doesn't mean they must obviously value those material objects more than their personal safety; the facts are not out yet (and may never fully be) and it is not even remotely clear if her profession or the way she conducted it have any bearing on what has happened.

Also telling Robyn to get lost is uncalled for; she always comes across as honest and sincere in her posts in my book. Besides calling you out for trolling when you are being callously unfeeling when discussing a tragic circumstance is something I commend her for. You might want to state you have no sympathy for the departed but don't expect anyone here to respect that one bit.

RIP I say, poor girl. If she enjoyed what she did then good luck to her and do NOT criticise, lots of escorts enjoy their work. They take risks by inviting strangers into their homes as we take risks travelling on a night bus or walking down a quiet street in a big city at 3am. It's no more dangerous! An absolute tragedy, sure anyone who met her must be feeling traumatised.

No, the world has not gone mental; and yes, you are missing something. It is called decency.

Even aside from your being insensitive to this woman's death, escorting/sex work has been around forever, there is a legitimate need for it, and the solution is to work to make it safer for everyone, not to try to stop everyone from participating in it (which would be a lost cause anyway).

Tarot, I was going to trot out that old chestnut about most victims knowing their killers to reassure you, but being the cynic I am, wanted to research it first. I've heard that a lot, but couldn't find hard evidence on a brief search.

It does make me wonder that (a) psychopaths have no sympathy for their victims, (b) they often seek power by claiming knowledge without actually providing more than the bare facts and (c) here we have someone openly expressing a lack of sympathy for this specific victim, and claiming a relationship indirect or otherwise with the scene.

Perhaps 'he' should have been reported rather than banned. May have just been a troll of sorts, lets hope so.

Theres going to be a lot of worried guys out there if the police get hold of her phone. Going to be hard to explain to the wife police turning up at the door to help with enquiries.

I think i'm done with exports now. Just wish it was easy to meet TS girls in everyday life
