It is a terrible thing that has happened to this poor girl , and may she rest in peace .But equally I would not want to see a punters life ripped to peices , because his number was on her phone .
I have no wife to worry about, but I do worry about if a girl gets arrested and my phone number is on her phone. A guy on another forum said one time he got a call from a detective asking why his number was on a professional's phone. Ever since reading that, I think anyone involved in "the hobby" should get a prepaid phone, to be kept separate from everyday calling.

this guy would have killed any other girl. her being an escort is an after thought. your logic dictates not to live life at all. when i date a girl, i let her into my home. i do not know her. she can kill me or vice versa. the ONLY difference between my scenario and this tgirl was that he was a paying client for sex instead of for a date (but still expecting sex as men always do). stay inside your home and don't meet people. because you know, they can kill you.

Don't take offense, she's assuming you're not that callous and stupid.

There doesn't seem to have been much progress made in the police investigation yet, but a little more information here:

You look at her pictures, and see that her choice of career paid for louis vuitton handbags, and £400 boots, but what good are they to her now? was it worth it? Obviously not. I keep trying to tell someone I know the same thing, but some people just don't listen.

Would you say I was lying if I told you jumping in font of a bus was dangerous too? And can you really say her lifestyle was worth her life? No matter how much money you make, what good is it when your dead?

You're a douchebag, case closed. You're probably some sexually frustrated blue-balled loser who recently either got ripped off or had an unsatisfying experience with an escort and now you're using this horrible tragedy as an excuse to lash out at someone who's unable to speak in her defense. Do you feel better now???

You guys are seriously over estimating the resources of the metropolitan police force, the idea that they could have the time or inclination to personally pay a visit to every contact on somebodies phone is ridiculous.

From the link, I take it you're in the UK. Here in America, police do sometimes investigate such things, depending on the local jurisdiction. I think prostitution is a low priority, but if they get complaints, or especially if they suspect drugs may be involved, they do take the time to investigate. And if you use a car to commit the "crime" the car is subject to forfeiture, so there is some financial motivation for them to pursue these things. Usually, if you don't get arrested at the scene, you're not likely to be arrested, but police have been known to call home phones and leave messages or tell whomever answers that a guy has been questioned in a prostitution investigation.

I meant they might or might not investigate prostitution, of course they always investigate murder.
