    ABC Family’s television drama “The Fosters” broke new ground this week, with a kiss between two 13-year-old characters named Jude and Connor.


    The kiss may qualify as the youngest same-sex kiss to ever air on U.S. television, according to the Huffington Post.

    ‘The Fosters’ follows the story of an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children. The series was awarded best Outstanding Drama Series at the 2014 GLAAD Awards.

    Twitter erupted with joy and supportive comments after Connor and Jude kissed, quickly making the hashtags #Jonnor and #JudeAndConnor trend online:

    see those lesbians turned them into gays they warned us about this but we didn't listen damb it we just didn't listen!!! in all seriousness tho getting 13 year old boys to kiss seems abit well to me it does

    I didn't see the show so I have no idea what type of kiss it was...and while i have no problem with same-sex kissing on tv, two 13 year olds is problamatic if it was sensual/sexual.
