This is generally true, but has no legal precedent. Voters don't think to highly of public servants who they perceive to be using their job to get a little sex. Many departments have policies against it, and thosys setie that don't will say it would only be done under exceptional circumstances.

Note touching the penis or breasts is not sex and is often allowed by policy. But most cops aren't going to engage in homosexual behavior, nor are you very likely to find a cop in drag that doesn't look like he dressed up for some high school skit.

BTW, another poster states stings are usually at low end hotels- here they are often at older (outside entry) Hampton Inns, a hotel chain I don't generally consider low end. Note arrests at the HI happen both ways- they busted several girls in their rooms also.

I have used backpage many times, and I have been happy with the girls I have been with. I could be wrong, but I think it would be kind of tough to setup an undercover sting with an ad for a trans girl. It's not like every city has trans women in the PD. I suppose a guy could dress up, but I'm sure most cops look God awful in a dress and lipstick. Lol.
