As some of you are aware, Perla, one of the models whose appeared on this site over the last few years, died recently in New York.




To avoid speculation, the facts as I have them are that she died of a drug overdose. Many of Perla's friends find this strange as she was only mildly into drugs and there are some circumstances surrounding her death which are suspicious.
Perla was a close friend of Tony who describes her as one of the best girls whom he'd came to know and they'd remained friends apart from just the photographer/model relationship, travelling to Vegas and Florida together. "A bright, happy and very cool girl."
We all makes choices in the type of lives we choose to lead and Perla was happy in the choices that she'd made - the lifestyle of a transgender model/escort in larger cities is often hazardous and those of us who admire from a far, should be aware of this. The staff and photographers of Shemale Yum pass on our sincere condolences to Perla's family and friends - although we never met her in person, we loved her through her photographs by Tony.
