It's not the age of anal.

Eva, did you read anything I wrote? Nobody, let me repeat that NOBODY in 50 years has sold anything but phosphate, oil, or glycerine disposable enemas in the recent history of disposable enemas. Saline has been the sole providence of home and hospital isotonic, hydrating, and non-irratative or purgative solutions. It's main purpose is for the body not to absorb the water over a plain water enema and as a post purgative soapsuds enema rinse. It's main use is for a lower bowel cleanse for examination rather then a forced laxative or used by experienced fetishist and those involved in anal play. While a quart or bulb of regular water immediately expelled presents no absorbtive problems, retaining a larger plain water enema potentially can disrup electrolyte balance or cause fluid retention. Saline is a very recent development over the older products. They would not be selling the conventional ones in a multipack as it would cause tremendous dehydration if overused or abused.

Ok, so? ...what are you getting at? Do it in one sentence.

Dude...DUH. That's why the label's instructions say USE ONLY ONCE and no more than one a day. So...by someone, as that lady you saw, buying a multi pack makes sense if she is getting them for herself or a loved one who experiences constipation frequently. Maybe they are heavy cheese eaters.

You didn't comprehend what I wrote. I understand all you wrote and it sounds like you're a conspiracy theorist and someone who knows how to google for information about enemas. I don't care about what formula they use and have used. That is not the proper response to my response to your OP.

The question is -what evidence is there that more women want to be penetrated anally? The evidence in the OP that it is based on the availability of products to make the experience more comfortable and hygienic cannot be asssumed to relate solely to sexual activity. When I had a problem earlier this year my doctor prescribed suppositories which act faster than most pills; there are sound medical reasons for using the anal passage for the medical treatment of illness.

Culturally anal penetration has been associated with shame, domination and subjection (as well as pleasure). I recall reading an article some years ago in which a Turkish transexual who had been repeatedly buggered by an uncle and his neighbour from around the age of 9-10 associated this with his feminization, on the basis that if he was being penetrated he must, in fact, be a girl. I once asked a female escort if she did anal and she was offended, and I think (most?) women still are. The increase in anal penetration films in the sex industry in the 1990s (think Rocco Siffredi) may have been part of a trend, but these films are mostly male fantasies, but I could be wrong.

It is the lack of solid evidence that makes me wonder.
